The waste bank in RT 07 RW 03, Penurunan Subdistrict, Bengkulu City, has been operating but still faces several issues, including manual transaction recording, limited data transparency, and low community participation. This program aims to implement a digital bookkeeping system for the waste bank integrated with environmental education to increase community participation. The methods include problem identification, designing a simple digital bookkeeping system, training waste bank managers and residents, and providing environmental education on waste management and the economic benefits of waste banks. The results indicate that the digital bookkeeping system improves recording accuracy, information accessibility, and transparency in waste bank management. Continuous environmental education also enhances public awareness and participation in waste sorting and waste deposit activities. As a generation born during rapid technological developments, Gen Z has easy access to a variety of information, including about finance and investment. However, without proper understanding, they risk making unwise financial decisions. Therefore, improving financial literacy, especially regarding investment, is a crucial step in building a stable financial future. Financial literacy includes understanding how to manage money, save, invest, and avoid financial traps. According to various studies, many young people struggle to manage their finances due to a lack of early education. Mistakes such as impulsive spending, uncontrolled credit card use, and investing without adequate research are common. By having a solid understanding of financial literacy, Gen Z can better manage their income and make smart investment decisions. The purpose of this community service is to provide financial literacy skills to Gen Z, to know the students' literacy abilities and to improve students' literacy understanding through the provision of materials by the community service group. The method used in this community service is a workshop which is divided into several stages of ongoing activities. The implementation of the workshop to strengthen financial literacy has been successfully implemented and achieved the target. The sustainability of community service activities in the context of financial literacy regarding personal financial management can be carried out periodically.</p>2026-02-04T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2026 Maya Macia Sari
