Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) was implemented in RT 04, Pintu Batu Village, Teluk Segara District, Bengkulu City. One of the main work programs carried out was the construction of a neighborhood gate (gapura) as an effort to strengthen community identity, improve environmental aesthetics, and foster social solidarity among residents. The construction of the gate was conducted collaboratively through community participation and mutual cooperation involving local residents and KKN students. This program aimed to create a symbolic landmark for the neighborhood while simultaneously encouraging a sense of belonging and collective responsibility toward the residential environment. The methods used in this activity included observation, planning, and direct implementation through gotong royong. The results indicated that the construction of the gate not only enhanced the visual appearance of the neighborhood but also strengthened social relationships among residents. This activity is expected to contribute to sustainable community development and reinforce the values of cooperation and togetherness within society.
